Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
At LANUP, we prioritize your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we handle information when you use our football match stats, lineup, and formation infographic generator.
1. Local Data Processing
LANUP operates entirely within your browser with client-side rendering. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data, lineups, stats, or images to any external servers. All data generated or entered during your use of LANUP stays entirely on your local device.
2. Storage Mechanisms
To maintain your work and settings, LANUP uses local browser storage mechanisms:
- Local Storage: Used as the default method to store your application data, theme settings, and saved configurations locally in your browser.
- IndexedDB: Used to persist directory handles if you grant folder permissions via the File System Access API, preserving your workspace across sessions.
- File System Access API: We only access the local directories you explicitly select and authorize for the purpose of saving and extracting your
.lanupfiles. We have no access to your broader file system.
3. Third-Party Services
Our application may contain links to external sites (such as donation platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites. When you click on these links, you may be directed to services that have their own privacy policies.
4. Application Usage
Since LANUP doesn't have user accounts, tracking cookies, or tracking analytics loaded on your device, we cannot monitor what you create or share. The stats, infographics, and formations you produce are fully yours.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Since LANUP is a serverless application, any changes will be reflected within the app's code repository and will be available on this page. By continuing to use the app after those changes become effective, you agree to the new Privacy Policy.
6. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns about these policies or our data practices, please reach out to us through the project's official repository or community avenues.
